Woman dead after being thrown out of moving matatu over a disagreement on fare

A 26 year old woman Judy Wanjiku Nyaga, who together with another man John Njoroge were allegedly thrown out of a moving matatu succumbed to her injuries.

It is alleged that the two while traveling on a Memba Sacco matatu had disagreements with the conductor over the amount of fare after which the conductor threw them out of the moving matatu at Juja.

They went and reported the case at Juja police station with injuries they had sustained.

According to eye witnesses, the matatu driver also wanted to run them over but onlookers reacted quickly and pulled them aside.

after the incident, the two went and sought treatment at a Ruiru hospital and were discharde. However, according to her brother, her sister started complaining of headache later and was rushed to Thika level V hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are still looking for the alleged driver and conductor
