Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko broke down in Court today over his corruption case. In court, Sonko told Anti_corruption Magistrate David Ogoti that officers asked him to withdraw the affidavit in another High Court matter before they drafted robbery with violence charges against him.

After the emotional display the anti-corruption magistrate asked him to cool down.

The former governor is seeking for judge Ogoti to recuse himself from hearing the matter in which he is facing graft charges over a Sh10 million revenue tender at City hall.
