Deputy President William Ruto’s new party changes name and symbol

As reported by our previous article on the formation of anew party to be the vehicle for the deputy president to launch a new political outfit for the DP to launch his presidential ambitions, details from kahawa tungu indicate that the new party has changed its name and party symbol from Party of development and reforms (PDR) and the party symbol of a cow to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the party symbol of a wheelbarrow.

In a gazette notice, dated December 28 2020, the party of development and reforms changed its name to United democratic alliance and the symbol to a wheelbarrow. the party is expected to field candidates in the upcoming by-elections.
