Chelsea’s hopes for a title race have been dealt a blow tonight as they lost 3 points to Mancity. Gundogan opened the scoring in the 18th minute as Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne also scored in the 21st and 34th minutes respectively. Hudson-Odoi scored one in the 90th minute, ending the game at Mancity 3-1 Chelsea. Chelsea has had a bad run of form in the last few premier league games. The team is yet to show their full potential even with the arrival of top players like Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Hakeem Zeyech. Frank Lampard has a lot to do with his current squad if at all he is to compete for the premier league title this season. The likes of Liverpool, Mancity, and even the less favorite Manchester United are all performing well. On the other hand, Mancity has had a bad start to this season’s campaign but seems to be getting up to speed with other top teams after today’s win. Pep Guardiola will be delighted by his team’s performance today and will be looking to mount a title challenge on Liverpool and Man United.
